The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has announced that the European Tour will be expanded to 14 events for the 2025 season. This marks the first time in the tour’s history that such a large number of events will take place, with the dates now confirmed.

The 2025 European Tour is set to run from March to October, featuring 14 three-day tournaments. These events will showcase both the world’s biggest darting stars and rising talents from across Europe.

Building on the success of this year’s tour, the 2025 season will see the European Tour visit seven different nations. A second visit to Switzerland is planned, alongside events in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

The season will kick off with the Belgian Darts Open at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze from March 7-9. This will be followed by three consecutive tournaments in Germany, including a return to Göttingen and stops in Riesa and Munich.

The Austrian Darts Open will take place in Graz from April 25-27. Following this, the European Tour will move to Sindelfingen, Germany, and then to Rosmalen, Netherlands, for the Dutch Darts Championship from May 23-25.

The tour will return to Germany for Events Eight and Nine, which will be held in Leverkusen and Kiel. After that, the Flanders Darts Trophy will be held in Antwerp, Belgium, from August 29-31.

Prague will host the Czech Darts Open from September 5-7, while Budapest and Basel will be the venues for ET12 and ET13, respectively, on back-to-back weekends later that month.

The 2025 European Tour will conclude in Hildesheim, Germany, from October 18-20. Following the completion of these 14 events, the top 32 players on the European Tour Order of Merit will qualify for the 2025 European Championship in Dortmund, scheduled for October 23-26.

PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “The European Tour has continued to grow stronger this year, with eight successful tournaments and some thrilling matches. The new event in Switzerland and the second visit to Belgium have been well-received, and we’re thrilled to expand to a record 14 events in 2025.”

Tickets for the 2025 PDC European Tour and the European Championship will be available from November through PDC Europe.
