The NEO.bet German Darts Championship is set to take place from August 30 to September 1 at Halle 39 in Hildesheim. The tournament marks the ninth event of the 2024 PDC European Tour, featuring a £175,000 prize pool and 48 top players.
Max Hopp Returns Max Hopp, Germany’s first European Tour winner, will make his return on Friday night, facing Jose de Sousa. Hopp’s comeback marks his first appearance since April 2022, when he reached the quarter-finals of the German Darts Grand Prix.
Title Defense Ricardo Pietreczko, who won his first professional title at Halle 39 last year by defeating Peter Wright, will begin his title defense on Saturday. He will face the winner of the Callan Rydz vs. Simon Whitlock match.
